Cornell Agriculture & Food Technology Park Unveils New Look Website
Thanks to a generous marketing grant from NYSEG, The Technology Farm has been able to update, not only its website, but most of our hard copy handouts, lobby display and travel information. It has been many years since the initial presentation materials were designed and it is time to show how far we have come. So check us out at:
www.thetechnologyfarm.com
The new look website will give updated insight into the facility, its tenant companies and the available sites on the campus. We hope that you will find it easier to use especially the finding us section. We realize that this has been an issue in the past and we hope we have resolved it. You can also find links to the tenants, Cornell University and The Experiment Station, technical experts and general resources that might be useful to find the information you need to assist you in starting your business.

Amie Cressman Named As Lake Plains 4-H and Youth Development Issues Leader
Beth Claypoole, Executive Director of CCE of Wayne County, and Bill Wynne, Executive Director of CCE of Monroe County, are pleased to announce that Amie Cressman has been named as the 4-H and Youth Development Issues Leader as part of the regional Lake Plains 4-H Program. This position will be managing the overall program of both Wayne and Monroe Counties.
Amie grew up locally before heading off to graduate school in Boston. She has been working with the Notre Dame Education Center in South Boston for the past 7 years, starting as an AmeriCorps volunteer and working her way up the ranks to Program Director. Amie brings a wealth of community development and international experience. She had responsibility for grant writing and management, program development and supervision of staff and volunteers. Amie will be an excellent addition to our program and we look forward to welcoming her when she starts on July 12.
Beth and Bill want to thank all the people on the interview committee for contributing to this process, first through a series of telephone interviews and then a full day of in person interviews. Representatives from both Wayne and Monroe Counties participated in the process: Susan Jennings, Jenny Lundberg, Evelyn Wilson, Mary McCabe, Carol Merrell, Bruce Auble, Ellie Conklin, Terry Davey, youth representative Bethany Reinhardt, and Executive Directors Bill Wynne and Beth Claypoole of Monroe & Wayne respectively.
